Our Tuesdays Faith & Life group will be virtual this semester due to COVID, but as the community spread lessens, we’ll find plenty of opportunities to “meet up” in person. This fall, we’ll engage with The Book of Joy, a conversation between two global faith and moral leaders. The Dalai Lama and Bishop Tutu, both political refugees and global leaders from different traditions, speak from their life experience and faith traditions about cultivating happiness in a changing world, transcending their own traditions to speak from a concern for humanity as a whole. What can we learn about anger, anxiety, hope, and finding joy when there is so much suffering in the world. Regardless of your faith background—your certainty or your doubts—there is wisdom to share, discuss and debate as we each form our own pillars for a meaningful and joyful life. Books will be available if interested, but you can simply join in for the conversation, with many connections. Email us at CMblue@nau.edu from your NAU or CCC email for the Zoom link. Begins September 28th! Led by our campus minister, Rev. Kathleen Day.
